200 Hours Yoga Teacher Training program is divided into six modules:
Module #1: History, philosophy and classification of Yoga. It covers components of Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa as well as understanding Yoga Sutra, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Geeta and Vedas.
Module #2: Philosophy, classification and methodologies of postures incorporating physiology and anatomy of body-mind. It includes explanation of cultural and meditative postures as well as static and dynamic postures along with Ashtanga series.
Module #3: It covers classification and variations of Pranayama as well as anatomy and physiology of Pranayama. It includes explanation of Hatha School Pranayama and Vasistha School Pranayama.
Module #4: It covers classification, mechanism, techniques and effects of meditation to prepare the participants for short term and long term meditation.
Module #5: It includes components and principles of teaching methodologies to cultivate and improve effective teaching skills in the participants. It also covers class management and student management as well as lesion planning and art of instructing during demonstration. This module focuses on individual growth by ensuring improvement through correction of faults and feedback.
Module #6: This module involves sat kriyas like Jal Neti, Sutra Neti, Kunjal Kriya and Sankha Prachalena. It also includes classification of sat kriyas and use of kriyas in Hatha Yoga and Yoga therapy. Anatomy and physiology of kriyas are also included in this module.
