History of School Of Yoga India:
In September 2005 the Association of Yoga and Meditation came into existence. At this duration of time yoga seemed to be lacking in the country. In India this association brought the original and traditional standard of yoga at national level. So, the world yoga champion Yogacharya Balmukund Singh, Yogacharya Chakardhar Khuswaha, yogi Chetan Mahesh and Rakesh Kumar Shastry, they all are famous and expertise in the field of yoga. In order to fulfill their mission, these Gurus came together and decided to build a foundation of their own and registered association of Meditation and yoga with government of India. The School Of Yoga India’s yoga school in rishikesh approaches the scientific methods that include the traditional and ancient yoga.
The same year School Of Yoga India became National organization of India and the Member at International Yoga Federation (IYF). It set it standard for yoga according to the guidelines of IYF in India. The Yoga Graduates from School Of Yoga India can register at IYF which is internationally recognized. In most of the countries the national yoga association organizes sports and yoga at national level. The winner announced at this level can represent themselves at international events which are organized by IYF itself.
The very next year in 2006 School Of Yoga India passed a resolution to make an administering body for keeping the international standards of yoga by the name of Indian Yoga Alliance.
